Sopot has been described as one of the most charming towns in Poland and one of the most popular Baltic seaside resorts. Let’s see how it lives up to its description.
The longest wooden pier in Europe stretches out into the sea for 511 meters. Would we make it to the end in this weather? Hell yes.
Iodine – we need it. We don’t make it naturally so we’ve got to get it from somewhere, where else other than Sopot pier where it is said that the Iodine concentration at the end of the pier is twice as high as on land.
- A few facts on Iodine – Flouride accumulates over time, Iodine helps to neutralise it. Your thyroid is a major factor in regulating your metabolism. Letting your iodine levels get low you run the risk of having a sluggish metabolism. Iodine has a direct effect on your thyroid gland, in turn, this regulates our hormones.
So if you are feeling lethargic then Iodine might be key. Worth getting levels checked as it is often overlooked, from experience you can’t really know what to focus on if you don’t know what you are lacking of or what you have in abundance.
We could see beyond the weather and could feel what delights Sopot would bring in the sunshine. Despite the weather, we had an enjoyable few hours dzięki (goodbye) Sopot and thank you.
